Audi has been named ``the most beautiful brand``in the first design award competition presented by Auto Zeitung magazine.
The brand with the four rings did extraordinarily well in the debut competition for the design trophy 2010,with the Audi R8 Spyder also finishing on the podium in the category ``most beautifull car model``.
Readers of the German magazine for car enthusiasts,could choose from among 50 bestselling car brands in Germany.
More than 26 percent of those participating voted for Audi as the ``brand with the most beautiful cars``beating all the other carmakers.
This year marked the very first competition for the Design Trophy.Roughly 14 000 readers,of the print and online versions,of Auto Zeitung voted in the competition.

Audi RS3
Good news for all Audi fans and fans of the A3 and S3!
In 2011 Audi will be releasing the A3 on steroids called the Audi RS3.
This Audi RS3 will be fitted with the super Audi TT RS engine and im sure this car will be able to fly.
Not sure about the price tag for this car yet but im sure that it will be every penny worth!
If the Audi RS3 is just a fraction better and faster than the S3 we all know what an unbelievable car it will be!Audi will do it again.

Audi R4's future 'undecided'
The future of the Audi R4, a Boxster-sized mid-engined sports car, currently hangs in the balance as Audi and Volkswagen decide whether steel or alloy body construction is the way forward for the all-new model.
The final stamp of approval for the R4 rests with parent company Volkswagen, according to high-ranking Audi insiders in Ingolstadt.
They say production feasibility studies are yet to determine whether a pressed steel or alloy spaceframe chassis is the better option. The e-tron concept car was based, like the R8, around an alloy spaceframe.
Engineers involved in the studies have told Autocar that lines have been drawn between the cheap-to-produce yet relatively heavy monocoque or the more expensive but lightweight aluminium structure.
One source told us: “The reaction to the e-tron concept has been overwhelming.
"We’re weighing up all of the options and possibilities. There’s no real time pressure because we’re not replacing an existing model but establishing a new one.”
Volkswagen’s involvement in the R4 programme stems from its own plans to use the same platform to create an even more affordable mid-engined coupĂ©/roadster along the lines of its BlueSport concept, which was unveiled at the 2009 Detroit motor show.
In a production strategy similar to that of the Volkswagen Polo/Audi A1 and Volkswagen Golf/Audi A3, the two car makers plan to create two distinctly different cars using a common mid-engine/rear-wheel drive structure.
A final green light for the new platform also hinges on a decision from Porsche, which is studying proposals to create a new entry-level model positioned underneath the Boxster and using the same underpinnings.
"Scale is important to a project like this,” an Audi source told Autocar. “But with three different car makers working to a common goal, the chances [of it getting the go-ahead] look good.”
Although the Audi e-tron concept car was revealed with an all-electric driveline, the production version of the R4 is planned to come with the choice of turbocharged 1.4–litre and 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engines as well as a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine.

New Audi R8 GT
Audi has just released their new lightweight, limited-edition Audi R8 GT!Porsche has the GT3,and now audi has decided to release a lighter weight and faster more powerfull version than the R8 V10 5.2
The Audi R8GT sprints from 0-100 in 3.6 seconds and claims to beat the top speed of the 911 turbo of 320km/h!
The big difference between the R8 GT and R8 V10 is the lighter weight carbon fiber panels troughout the R8 GT
What a unbelievable car!unfortuanetly only 333 will be built world wide and will cost 193,000 euros.

Audi R15 wins race debut
E88729WZ7KUT The new improved Audi R15 TDI won its race debut at the Le Castellet in France last week with the pairing of Dindo Capella and Allan McNish. The improved diesel racing sports car ran the entire distance without the smallest problem during the test race.
During the opening lap of the eight-hour race, Allan McNish overtook the Peugeot, which had started from pole position in the hands of Frenchman Stephane Sarrazin and on the third lap the Lola-Aston Martin of Stefan Mucke. From then on Allan McNish and teammate Dindo Capello did not relinquish the lead.
After 266 laps, the two Audi drivers held a five-lap lead from the Lola-Aston Martin of defending champion Stefan Mucke, Harold Primat and Adrian Fernandez.
The Oreca team Peugeot finished fourth after succumbing to a technical problem during the opening stages of the race.
The only unscheduled pit stop was made just seven minutes before the end of the race, when Audi Sport Team Joest switched to rain tires for safety reasons as rain began to fall.

This is the Audi R8 V12 TDI,another one of the company's super cars expected to release in 2012 and the first ever Diesel powered super car on the road.
Its no surprise that Audi built a Diesel powered super car seeing that they won the Le Mans 10 years in a row,with the only Diesel powered engine on the track!
Audi undoubtedly has the best Diesel powered engines of any car brand and Audi is for sure setting the benchmark for all other car companies out there.

Only time will tell,but not to be stressed as Audi has always produced and in the past few years have moved up to THE top off the line cars on the market,setting the benchmark for all other car companies out there.
